Ngutuni sanctuary
Ngutuni sanctuary is a 10,000 acre private game sanctuary, surrounded on three sides by Tsavo East National Park.with view of the Sagala Hills and others nearby, only 2.5 hours drive from Mombasa.It is surrounded by national parks best known today for their fantastic variety of wildlife including lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo as well as a huge variety of plains game and bird life.
It is only in Ngutuni Sanctuary, in the whole of Tsavo East National Park, where one can do a night game drive conveniently and spot a lot of animals including many big cats at very close range.
Taita Hills Sanctuary
Taita Hills Sanctuary is a privately owned game ranch only 11,330 acre, but it is a model conservation area with its own warden and rangers and at times has wildlife in plenty. Elephant and lion are resident and buffalo and cheetah are easily found.
3 DAYS NGUTUNI TSAVO EAST AND TSAVO WEST ZIWANI
Day 1: Mombasa to Ngutuni Lodge Tsavo
Early morning pick up from the hotel and Proceed to Tsavo East National Park which is about 105 km approx 2hours depends with the traffic. Along the Mombasa Nairobi highway enter Tsavo East with game en route to Ngutuni Sanctuary. Check in and lunch at Ngutuni Lodge. Overnight stay at Ngutuni Lodge.
Day 2: Ngutuni Lodge Tsavo to Salt Lick Lodge in Taita Hills Sanctuary
Early morning game drive in Ngutuni Sanctuary. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Arrive at Taita Hills at midday. Check in at Taita Hills Lodge for lunch. After lunch depart to Saltlick Lodge. Check in at the lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Taita Saltlick Lodge.
Day 3: Taita Hills - Mombasa
Early morning game drive till 0830 hrs. .After breakfast at Saltlick Lodge you will depart for Mombasa/ Diani. Arriving in the late afternoon and drop off to your hotel.
