Other wildlife is the elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, hyena, reedbuck, warthog, bush pig, giraffe, leopard, baboon, sykes monkey, black-faced verve monkey, serval cat, duiker, Masai giraffe, and ostrich.
It is the closest game park to the coast – 56km from Mombasa.
The major physical attraction is a scenic landscape comprising hills and valleys extending beyond the reserve boundaries, coastal rainforest and Sheldrick Falls.
